Team Etiquette
If you are in any of the teams this season, we have put some guidance notes together of what is expected of you. Last season was probably one of the most challenging for all of the team captains due to the sheer number of matches and teams that Masters Badminton Club enter in the leagues around the district. It is therefore imperative that each and every one of us try to make the Captains role as easy as possible, not least, so that the Captain stays motivated and wants to lead his or her team.
Notification of Matches
All teams are published on the front page of each league section so it is easy to see if you are part of a team. You will also have been given notification of the team you are in at Club night. Please examine all fixtures and let your captin know if there are any you cannot make. Your Captain will have enough things to remember without worrying about whether he or she has a team. Unless notified your Captain will assume you are available for each match.
Timekeeping
Please ensure that you arrive in good time for your match, there is nothing worse for a captain if a team member has not turned up and the opposition is starting to get vocal about having our team ready to play.In 'good time' for a match by definition should be at least 5 minutes prior to the start time. If you are going to be late please ensure you have your Captains mobile so you can advise them.
Match Fees
Please ensure you bring your match fees to each match and give to the Captain.
Team Shirts
It is now a requirement of any team member to wear the Masters Club Shirts for any masters match including any County League games
Please also refer to the Club Clothing tab as this will show you the complete range of club clothing available.
